A good fit for

This camera suits content creation and travel and everyday photography.

How to think about it

Camera bodies and sensors matter less than most buyers expect once you are past the entry level; lenses, stabilisation and how easily you can carry it matter more. Against the other 35 cameras we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R1 495, with most falling between R409 and R12 596.

What to confirm

• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
