Worth knowing

Storage is judged on interface, sustained speed and endurance rather than capacity alone. A drive that is fast in bursts is not the same as one that is fast under load. Against the other 483 storage drives we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R1 890, with most falling between R319 and R11 565.

Before you order

• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
