Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for desk setups running several peripherals and laptops short on ports.

Some context

A hub shares one connection between several devices, so total bandwidth is finite. What the host laptop supports sets the ceiling, not the hub. Against the other 266 hubs and docks we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R11 149, with most falling between R319 and R16 514.

Worth checking

• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• Check which ports you actually need and whether the hub supports pass-through charging.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
