Who it suits

It is usually bought for anyone who has dropped a phone once and protecting a device you already own.

Background

A case is bought once and used daily, so the balance between protection and bulk is the whole decision. Heavier protection genuinely works, and it genuinely adds size. Against the other 369 cases we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R1 415, with most falling between R489 and R5 056.

Points to check

• If you use wireless charging, check the case is rated to work through it.
• Thicker protection adds bulk. Decide which you actually want before choosing.
• Cases are model-specific. Check the exact model and variant, since camera cut-outs differ between years and sizes.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
