Worth knowing

Server hardware is bought for uptime rather than speed. Redundancy, serviceability and parts availability are what separate two otherwise similar machines. Against the other 112 servers we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R121 175, with most falling between R6 787 and R220 192.

Before you order

• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
