Background

Audio gear is personal, and fit matters as much as sound. Comfort over a long session is what most people end up judging it on. Against the other 96 audio devices we list, this one sits towards the affordable end of the range at R479, with most falling between R379 and R10 796.

Points to check

• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Codec support affects wireless audio quality; it is worth matching to the device you will pair with.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
