Seagate One Touch Hub 6TB External Hard Drive (STLC6000400)

Seagate One Touch Hub 6TB External Hard Drive — a hub or dock, available to order online from ElectroGuy for delivery across South Africa. It combines 6TB of storage.

What you get

• Storage: 6TB
• Brand: Seagate
• Model / MPN: STLC6000400
• Condition: New

Best suited to

Most customers choosing this are after laptops short on ports and desk setups running several peripherals.

Worth knowing

A hub shares one connection between several devices, so total bandwidth is finite. What the host laptop supports sets the ceiling, not the hub. Against the other 266 hubs and docks we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R3 229, with most falling between R319 and R16 514.

Before you order

• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Check which ports you actually need and whether the hub supports pass-through charging.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
