Background

Storage is judged on interface, sustained speed and endurance rather than capacity alone. A drive that is fast in bursts is not the same as one that is fast under load. Against the other 482 storage drives we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R2 004, with most falling between R319 and R11 565.

Points to check

• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
