Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for people who want upgradeable hardware and home offices with room for a tower.

Some context

Desktops give you more performance per rand than laptops and stay upgradeable for years, at the cost of being fixed to one place. For anyone who works at the same desk daily, that is usually the right trade. Against the other 1325 desktop PCs we list, this one sits towards the affordable end of the range at R11 447, with most falling between R2 678 and R41 030.

Worth checking

• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• Check the case size against the space you have, and whether the parts you might add later will fit.
