Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for desk setups running several peripherals and laptops short on ports.

Some context

A hub shares one connection between several devices, so total bandwidth is finite. What the host laptop supports sets the ceiling, not the hub. Against the other 266 hubs and docks we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R32 359, with most falling between R319 and R16 514.

Worth checking

• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Display output over a hub depends on what the host machine supports, not only on the hub itself.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
