Who it suits

It is usually bought for people trying newer categories of device and hands-free capture and everyday wear.

Background

Newer wearable categories change quickly, so battery life, comfort and whether the software is still being updated matter more than the spec sheet. Against the other 354 wearables we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R3 505, with most falling between R379 and R13 496.

Points to check

• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
