Oculus Quest 2 Link Cable 5m

The Oculus Quest 2 Link Cable 5m is a cable, supplied in South Africa by ElectroGuy.

Key specifications

• Brand: Oculus
• Condition: New

Who it suits

It is usually bought for keeping a spare where you need one and replacing a worn cable.

Background

Cables are not interchangeable. Power delivery and data rate vary widely between cables that look identical, and the difference only shows up under load. Against the other 209 cables we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R2 395, with most falling between R89 and R4 116.

Points to check

• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
