Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for work and study and anyone replacing an ageing laptop.

Some context

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R13 737, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Worth checking

• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
