Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for people who need a portable main machine and work and study.

Some context

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R28 308, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Worth checking

• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
• Check the port selection against what you actually plug in, and whether you will need a hub on top.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
