Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for desk setups running several peripherals and laptops short on ports.

Some context

A hub shares one connection between several devices, so total bandwidth is finite. What the host laptop supports sets the ceiling, not the hub. Against the other 266 hubs and docks we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R39 482, with most falling between R319 and R16 514.

Worth checking

• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Check which ports you actually need and whether the hub supports pass-through charging.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
