Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for home offices with room for a tower and a fixed workstation.

Some context

Desktops give you more performance per rand than laptops and stay upgradeable for years, at the cost of being fixed to one place. For anyone who works at the same desk daily, that is usually the right trade. Against the other 1325 desktop PCs we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R16 768, with most falling between R2 678 and R41 030.

Worth checking

• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
