HP 85 Yellow Ink Cartridge (C9427A)

HP 85 Yellow Ink — a printer, available to order online from ElectroGuy for delivery across South Africa.

What you get

• Brand: HP
• Model / MPN: C9427A
• Condition: New

Who it suits

It is usually bought for households that print occasionally and home offices and small businesses.

Background

Running cost matters more than purchase price on printers. The cartridge or toner economics over a few years usually dwarf the difference between two models on the shelf. Against the other 1656 printers we list, this one sits towards the affordable end of the range at R1 671, with most falling between R1 244 and R22 382.

Points to check

• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
