• Connectivity: Wi-Fi

Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for households with a lot of connected devices and home and small-office connectivity.

Some context

Networking hardware is worth over-buying slightly. Coverage and the number of devices a unit can handle age faster than raw speed ratings. Against the other 97 networking devices we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R3 795, with most falling between R369 and R10 796.

Worth checking

• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
