Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for households that print occasionally and home offices and small businesses.

Some context

Running cost matters more than purchase price on printers. The cartridge or toner economics over a few years usually dwarf the difference between two models on the shelf. Against the other 1656 printers we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R11 637, with most falling between R1 244 and R22 382.

Worth checking

• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
