Who it suits

It is usually bought for anyone who has dropped a phone once and protecting a device you already own.

Background

A case is bought once and used daily, so the balance between protection and bulk is the whole decision. Heavier protection genuinely works, and it genuinely adds size. Against the other 369 cases we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R3 790, with most falling between R489 and R5 056.

Points to check

• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• Thicker protection adds bulk. Decide which you actually want before choosing.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
