A good fit for
This charger suits replacing a lost or failing charger and a second charger for work or travel.
How to think about it
Charging speed is set by the weakest link in the chain: charger, cable and device all have to support the same standard for the advertised figure to apply. Against the other 79 chargers we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R1 695, with most falling between R309 and R4 175.
What to confirm
Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
Match the wattage to the device. Under-powering a laptop charger means it charges slowly or not at all under load.
If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
