Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for people who need a portable main machine and work and study.

Some context

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R21 131, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Worth checking

• Where a listing offers several configurations, the difference is usually memory or storage rather than the core hardware.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
