Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for people who need a portable main machine and work and study.

Some context

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R42 921, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Worth checking

• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Match the processor to the work: light office and browsing needs far less than video editing or compiling.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
