Background

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R44 111, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Points to check

• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
• Check the port selection against what you actually plug in, and whether you will need a hub on top.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
