Worth knowing

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R16 336, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Before you order

• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• Match the processor to the work: light office and browsing needs far less than video editing or compiling.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
