Worth knowing

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R41 840, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Before you order

• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Memory is the specification most people under-buy. It is also the hardest to change later on thin machines where it is soldered.

How we supply it

Stock for this listing is imported rather than locally distributed. It carries a 2-year ElectroGuy warranty, handled directly by us rather than by the manufacturer. Delivery is free nationwide and usually takes 2–3 business days once payment has cleared — details in our shipping policy. Returns on unused, unopened items are accepted for 7 days after delivery; once approved, the refund is completed within 7 business days.
