Who this is for
It is a sensible fit for anyone replacing an ageing laptop and people who need a portable main machine.
Some context
A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the affordable end of the range at R2 695, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.
Worth checking
Check the port selection against what you actually plug in, and whether you will need a hub on top.
Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
Screen size drives portability more than weight does. A 16-inch machine is a desk machine in practice.
Ordering, delivery and support
We supply this as imported stock. It is new, and it is not sourced through a South African distributor. Warranty cover is 2 years through ElectroGuy, and claims are handled by our team. We deliver free across South Africa, normally 2–3 business days after payment clears. Full terms are in our shipping policy. If you change your mind, an unused item in its original packaging can be returned within 7 days, with approved refunds paid inside 7 business days.
