Who this is for

It is a sensible fit for work and study and anyone replacing an ageing laptop.

Some context

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R62 168, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Worth checking

• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
