Worth knowing

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R59 219, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Before you order

• Check what is included in the box, as bundled cables and adapters vary between models and regions.
• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
