Worth knowing

Components have to match the rest of the build. Socket, chipset, power draw and physical clearance decide compatibility before performance ever comes into it. Against the other 552 PC components we list, this one sits around the middle of the range at R6 624, with most falling between R1 443 and R26 486.

Before you order

• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
• Confirm the variant matches the one you need; near-identical model codes often differ in one specification that matters.
• If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
• Read the specification rather than the headline — the number in the title is rarely the one that decides the fit.
