A good fit for
This camera suits content creation and travel and everyday photography.
How to think about it
Camera bodies and sensors matter less than most buyers expect once you are past the entry level; lenses, stabilisation and how easily you can carry it matter more. Against the other 35 cameras we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R7 435, with most falling between R409 and R12 596.
What to confirm
Look at the specification you will still care about in two years, not only the one that matters this week.
Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
If you are unsure whether this suits your setup, ask us before ordering rather than after.
Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.
If this is replacing something you already own, check the two are actually compatible rather than assuming.
