Worth knowing

A laptop is a set of compromises between speed, battery life, weight and screen size. There is no configuration that wins on all four, so the useful question is which of them you are willing to give up. Against the other 4139 laptops we list, this one sits towards the upper end of the range at R28 145, with most falling between R3 609 and R41 862.

Before you order

• Memory is the specification most people under-buy. It is also the hardest to change later on thin machines where it is soldered.
• Check the exact model and variant against what you own before ordering, as compatibility is usually model-specific.
• Compare this against the other options in the range before deciding, since the closest alternative is often a better fit.

How we supply it

Stock for this listing is imported rather than locally distributed. It carries a 2-year ElectroGuy warranty, handled directly by us rather than by the manufacturer.
